ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Spring is in the air, the sun is shining, the snowbanks are shrinking. And now we have real proof that the monsters of winter are retreating.
It's one thing to look eagerly at that KTTC Precision Weather 7-Day Forecast and that number "60" on Sunday's tab, but hey, check out this photo sent in from Sylvia Goetzman in northwest Rochester.
"My mother, Sylvia Goetzman, took the photo at her home in NW Rochester on the south side of the house," notes Karen Jeanson. "The crocuses and daffodils always bloom early there because they get early morning sun and are very close to the house."
Thanks Sylvia, for picking up our spirits and launching our "first spring weekend."
