ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A Rochester man is facing drug charges after he was caught with drugs in a car early Wednesday morning.

Rochester police say an officer on patrol spotted a car about 1:15 a.m. in the Motel 6 parking lot at 2107 W. Frontage Road. Inside the vehicle were three men including 27-year-old Michael Cozik.

As the officer approached the vehicle, Cozik allegedly tried to hide something under his leg. Rochester police say it was a digital scale with a gram of meth attached to it.

He is facing charges of fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance.
