ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- The Century High School track and field team traded in their running shoes for shovels on Tuesday.
The team shoveled snow off the track with the goal of starting practice as soon as possible.
"We're starting out the track and field season here at Century. But the problem is we don't really have a track to run on. So we're just out here. Decided to come out and pave the way. Hopefully we can be out here in a few days," said team member Peter Galindez.
Shoveling a 400-meter track seems like a lot of work, but Peter was in great spirits saying it's a good time to get out and bond as a team.
