Onalaska Rallies from 3-0 Deficit to Advance to Title Game

Madison, WIS. (WXOW) ----------- The Onalaska Boys Hockey team rallied from 3-0 deficit to defeat the University School of Milwaukee 4 to 3 to advance to the WIAA State Title Game.

Bennett Hutson scored the go-ahead goal with just :13 seconds remaining to send the Hilltoppers to their first State Title game appearance.

Down 3-0, Ian Earp opened the scoring for Onalaska tipping in a Caleb Blank shot from the point to cut the lead to 2.

40 seconds into the 3rd period, Austin Lubinsky scored off of an Earp rebound to cut the lead to 1.

Luke Tepp, who scored the game winning goal Thursday night against Kettle Moraine, would then tie the game late in the 3rd to set-up Hutson's heroics.

Onalaska (23-3-1) takes on Verona (25-2-2) tomorrow for the State Title.  The teams take to the ice following the Onalaska Co-op Girls Hockey team in their state title bid as they take on Green Bay East Co-op
