Ali Killam - KTTC Rochester, Austin, Mason City News, Weather and Sports

Ali Killam

Ali Killam joined the KTTC NewsCenter team in October of 2013 as a reporter and multimedia journalist.

The Chicagoland native graduated in May 2013 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication with her BA degree in Broadcast Journalism and Strategic Communications. Ali spent the spring and summer of her senior year interning at a fellow Quincy station, WKOW, in Madison. She covered a variety of reports including the Solidarity Sing-along protests and arrests at the state Capitol.

Ali has also interned for WLS-TV in Chicago in the news-planning department where she developed stories for the news team and contributed to ongoing investigative reports. She also served as a reporter/anchor/producer for The Badger Report, a weekly online broadcast of campus news. Ali also has experience in radio from WBBM NewsRadio 780 in Chicago, as well as WSUM 91.7 FM Madison Student Radio.

Along with her love of news reporting, Ali is also a die-hard Badger and Chicago Bears fan, an active member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, and has a severe case of wanderlust and travel. She spent a semester of her undergraduate years in Seville, Spain and the city hasn't left her heart or mind since. She loves to hear about others' travel experiences and welcomes any excursion suggestions—even here in Minnesota!

In her spare time, Ali enjoys running, reading, cooking, animals and the environment. She is thrilled to be reporting in the place she calls home, the Midwest.
