ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- The Rochester Fire Department says at least 200 households are without water due to frozen pipes.
The frost level is usually about 31 inches in Rochester. Right now the level is six to seven feet deep in places, meaning this could be a concern until May.
The Rochester Fire Department is asking homeowners to make sure they are insured and to choose a smart method to thaw frozen pipes such as hot steam.
