BURLINGTON, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say a Burlington couple knew their son was molesting his brothers and sisters but did nothing about it.
The Hawk Eye says (http://bit.ly/1ephzls ) the two were charged Wednesday with two counts each of child endangerment. Their 20-year-old son on Tuesday was charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a child. Des Moines County Jail records say all three remained in custody on Thursday.
The Associated Press is not using their names, in order to protect the privacy of the other children.
Police say the 20-year-old told investigators on Monday that he had molested eight of his brothers and sisters for the past eight or nine years. He says he asked his parents for help, but they didn't help and still let him share a room with his brothers.
