ST. PAUL, Minn. (KTTC) -- Three area teachers have made the latest cut for Teacher of the Year in Minnesota.
Kasson-Mantorville elementary and kindergarten teacher Beth Postier, Stewartville 9th grade math teacher Cheri Stageberg, and Winona Senior High School special education teacher Lora Hill are among 33 semifinalists for the honor.
The panel will meet again in late March to select about 10 finalists from among the group of semifinalists.
Teachers' union Education Minnesota organizes and underwrites the Teacher of the Year program.
The winner will be announced at a banquet on May 4.
