ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A familiar face will be leading the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce while a search committee looks for a new president.
Officials said Wednesday that Jerry Williams has been named the interim president of the Rochester Chamber. Since retiring as Superintendent of Rochester Public Schools, Williams has chaired the Government Services Redesign Task Force and the Common Cents Steering Committee.
He also serves on the Rochester Area Strategic Economic Growth Plan steering committee.
Former Chamber President, John Wade, resigned earlier this month.
A transition search comittee is currently looking for the next president.
