Fire damages Decorah restaurant


DECORAH, Iowa (KTTC) -- A fire early Wednesday morning caused extensive damage to a popular Decorah restaurant.

Firefighters were called to Cho Sun restaurant at 802 Commerce Drive shortly before 1:30 p.m. They found flames coming from the west side of the building.

The Decorah Fire Department says they don't have a damage estimate and it's unknown what caused the fire.

No injuries were reported.

The Decorah Fire Department was assisted by the Calmar and Ossian Fire Departments as well as the Winneshiek Medical Center Ambulance Service, the Decorah Police Department, Decorah Street Department, Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department, Alliant Energy and Black Hills Energy.
