CHATFIELD, Minn. (KTTC) -- A steering committee has been formed in Chatfield to bring Habitat for Humanity to the community.
Chatfield's Habitat will likely begin with the "Brush of Kindness" program which helps low and moderate income homeowners accomplish exterior home improvements they would not otherwise be able to do.
In a little more than two weeks, Habitat for Humanity will hold a fundraising event on Saturday, January 25 at United Methodist Church in Chatfield at 124 Winona St. S.E. from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Money raised will help pay for materials needed to see Chatfield succeed at getting their first Habitat for Humanity.
