DIGITAL SALES SPECIALIST
WXOW/WQOW, the ABC TV affiliate for Western Wisconsin, has an immediate opening for a Digital Sales Specialist. The successful candidate should be an innovative leader who embraces multi-platform sales opportunities with web, mobile, digital and social media to new and existing clients of WXOW/WQOW TV. We're after the strategic, creative advertising mind that's the driving force behind the sale.
As Digital Sales Specialist, the candidate will work in tandem with our Local Sales Management team in La Crosse and with the WXOW/WQOW sales staff located in both La Crosse and Eau Claire in developing and executing multi-platform campaigns, facilitating revenue growth for new media. This includes developing proposals, pricing, and packaging for our staff as well as managing digital inventory and maintaining reports. The candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills and look forward to thriving in a fast paced, exciting television and on-line environment. The candidate should be creative in securing revenue producing opportunities.
College degree in marketing, advertising, sales or equivalent experience in media sales or marketing preferred. (ie TV, Radio, Newspaper or Digital)
WXOW/WQOW TV has two locations, La Crosse and Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The successful candidate may choose to live in either of our two TV station locations. The TV stations serve a 14 county TV DMA which includes La Crosse, Eau Claire, Winona, Chippewa Falls, Black River Falls and Prairie Du Chien. The University of Wisconsin- La Crosse and Eau Claire and Viterbo University are the major educational institutions in our market.
