LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Santa will have to fly through a little snow to get to deliver presents tonight. So will anyone else who is traveling on Christmas Eve in the Coulee Region.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 3:00 a.m. Christmas morning for La Crosse, Jackson, Buffalo, Trempealeau, Monroe, and Winona counties.
Two to four inches of snow is expected to fall in those areas this evening before tapering off during the overnight hours.
Roads are likely to become slippery this evening.
