ALEXANDRIA, Minn. (AP) -- Two people were taken to a hospital from a house fire near Alexandria in western Minnesota.
Douglas County sheriff's authorities say dispatchers received the call at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Two victims were taken from the burning house with burns and smoke inhalation. They were taken to Douglas County Hospital.
Authorities don't know the extent of the victims' injuries.
The house is a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
