ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- An advocacy group says upgrading Minnesota's roads and bridges could create thousands of jobs.
BlueGreen Alliance, a group of labor unions and environmental groups, joined Rochester Mayor Ardell Brede at Rochester City Hall on Thursday.
The alliance released a report that says investing in roads, bridges, water, wastewater, transit and energy could create 114,000 jobs across Minnesota.
Mayor Brede said the recent Broadway construction project is an example of this investment.
