LOS ALAMOS, N.M. (KTTC) -- A man from Harmony has died in a small plane crash in New Mexico.
The Los Alamos Monitor newspaper reports that Mike Fjetland was killed when the plane he was flying crashed near the Los Alamos County Airport on Sunday morning. His passenger, Kevin Burrs of Corwith, Iowa, was also killed in the crash.
KOB-TV in Albuquerque reports the plane was based out of Harmony.
Investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board are still determining the cause of the crash. They are searching for cellphones or GPS devices to aid in their investigation.
