ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Southeastern Minnesota is still on track to receive our first 'shovelable' snowfall of the season on Sunday.
Look for light snow will develop and spread across the region through the afternoon. Snow will remain on the light side with a couple of isolated moderate bursts, but it will be snowing for much of our Sunday afternoon.
By late Sunday evening, much of the area will see 2-4" of snow. Isolated higher amounts of 5 inches will be possible in spots.
After the snow shuts off wind will pick up on Monday and stick with us through the middle of the week. The cold will continue with mainly single digits highs and wind chills approaching 30 below at times through Wednesday.
Light accumulations of snow are possible as a weak disturbance passes Tuesday night. Temperatures in the 20s return by Thursday.
