Austin City Council fires city administrator

AUSTIN, Minn. (KTTC) -- The city of Austin has fired its city administrator.

The city council voted unanimously Monday night to terminate Jim Hurm.
   
A city council evaluation statement said Hurm had an unfavorable performance review by city department heads.

The evaluation cited concerns about organization, leadership and communication.

The council has not decided what the future of the position is.
