EDINA, Minn. (KTTC) -- There's good news for those looking to buy or sell a home in Minnesota, according to a release from the Minnesota Association of Realtors.
Accordinng to the release, in October, there was an 11.5% increase in new home listings over the same time last year across Minnesota. The release said median sales prices have also continued to increase from $156,000 to $175,000.
The release went on to say that in southeast Minnesota, the median sales price was $143,900, and there was a 10.7% increase in new listings from the same time last year.
The release said the median sales prices in the midpoint between those properties sold at a higher or lower price. A rise in the median price indicates buyers feel more confident about their situation and local market conditions.
