Burton steps down as UW-L's soccer coach; takes on new role


La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW)  After 20 years as the head women's soccer coach at UW-La Crosse, Sara Burton is stepping down.

She is staying with the university though, accepting a new job in administration within the athletics department.

Burton leaves the women's soccer program as the school's all-time leader in wins and is third all-time in the WIAC.
