ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A Rochester man is facing a federal charge of being a felon in possession of a gun.
James Kent Johnson, 34, has prior felony convictions for violent crimes. As a result, the U.S. Attorney's Office said Johnson is subject to the federal armed career criminal statute in the current federal case.
The statute mandates a minimum sentence of 15 years in federal prison upon conviction.
