ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Fire has destroyed a large farm shed in Haverhill Township, northeast of Rochester.
The Rochester Fire Department responded to the fire at 3325 75th St. NE at about 2 p.m. Friday.
By the time fire department crews arrived, the roof had partially collapsed on one end of the shed, making it unsafe for firefighters to enter the building.
Fire officials believe high winds along with the delay in the fire being spotted both contributed to the size and intensity of the fire. They also say the collapsed roof is preventing firefighters from getting water on the fire.
The State Fire Marshal's Office has been called to investigate.
