ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- The owner of Whiskey Bone's Roadhouse in Rochester is disputing a police report about his bar.
Rochester police said an argument turned into a stabbing early Sunday morning outside Whiskey Bone's Roadhouse.
But owner Todd Powers said the stabbing didn't happen there.
He said his staff asked two men who were arguing about a woman to leave the bar and escorted them off the property. That's when Powers said the two men and the woman walked toward the ShopKo entrance. At some point, one of the men got stabbed and the three ran toward Whiskey Bones when they saw a deputy arrive.
Powers also disputes the crowd estimate. Police estimated the crowd at between 600-800 people. But Powers said the bar's capacity is 440.
"Ever since I have opened Whiskey Bone's, there has not been one positive thing written about that bar, it's all negative," Powers said. I would like to have all the police reports. We will be at the bottom. I get all this stuff that's running down my business."
Powers said he has had liquor license since 2003.
