DECORAH, Iowa (KTTC) -- In north Iowa, a man faces immigration violation charges after trying to get his kids back.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says Teodoro Candido was originally deported in 2012 after domestic abuse charges.
But authorities believe he came back after his wife Holly Yonkovic, who along with another possible illegal immigrant, Ramon Perez, were arrested during a sexual abuse investigation in August.
Perez also known as -- Rodrigo Estrada -- is accused of sexually abusing four children in Ossian, Iowa. Yonkovic faces charges of child endangerment and tampering with a witness.
The maternal father -- Teodoro Candido -- is in immigration custody.
