ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A Rochester man who fell 70 feet from a bluff last month is making progress in his recovery.
The CaringBridge website for 23-year-old Zack Nelson says doctors put a talking trach on him, and he is now able to speak.
Zack's family says he is eating great and doctors say his progress has skyrocketed.
The Mayo High School grad fell from a Mississippi River bluff in La Crosse on September 20th.
He was kept in a medically induced coma for days following the accident -- even flat lined last week -- but was revived.
