BYRON, Minn. (KTTC) -- Byron Middle School parents went back to school Friday afternoon.
Just like the movie Freaky Friday, parents spent the day experiencing what their kids do in class. This is the 6th year the school has held the Freaky Friday event.
Parents, teachers and kids played games, including one to see which class had the most school spirit.
"I think the best part of the day is the pep fest at the end where they get everybody involved both with the parents and the kids," said parent Kris Cook. "It's just a lot of fun."
The afternoon had many surprises. Teacher Cathleen Johnson got an unexpected visit from her daughter Sarah, a student at Iowa State University.
