Shutdown forces Rochester Farm Service Agency office to close

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Another victim of the federal government shutdown is being felt in Rochester: The Department of Agriculture's Service Center is now closed.

The hallways inside the building are empty, and a sign on the door reads, "Due to the Federal Government shutdown, the USDA NRCS office is closed." noting that the Farm Service Agency and Natural Resources Conservation Service are not open.

The only office remaining open in the U-S-D-A building in Rochester is the Olmsted Soil and Water Conservation District.
