WINONA, Minn. (KTTC) -- A Winona teenager is behind bars for bringing a loaded handgun to school.
According Winona police, the 15-year-old boy was arrested at about 8:30 a.m. Monday, after another student reported seeing the 22-caliber handgun in his pocket.
Winona police say they investigated, and discovered the student had been bringing the gun to Winona Senior High School for weeks, and at one point, even put the gun to the head of another student.
The teen faces several felony charges, including possession of a dangerous weapon on school property.
Police say the investigation into who owns the gun is ongoing.
