Man charged with DWI, child endangerment in Mason City weekend crash


near MASON CITY, Iowa (KTTC) -- One man was arrested over the weekend and two children were injured after a crash in Cerro Gordo County.

The Cerro Gordo County Sherrifs Office say deputies responded to an crash on 230th Street.

An 8-year-old and a 3-year-old were both taken to the hospital with injuries.

34-year-old Jeremiah Corcoran of Nora Springs, Iowa, was driving the vehicle and was arrested for operating while intoxicated and two counts of child endangerment.

Authorities say he is being held on a 500,000 dollar cash bond.
