IL Paranormal Conference comes to Rockford

ROCKFORD (WREX) -

Dozens of people descend on Rockford hoping to find out more about  the paranormal activity in the area. Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum, Haunted Rockford Paranormal Events, and Veterans Memorial Hall are partnering with the Paranormal Kicks Cancer Group to host the Illinois Paranormal Conference.  This event feature speakers from all different aspects of the paranormal. There will also be paranormal investigation teams, psychics, owners of haunted locations, and more. The event runs from 11:30 to 6:30 p.m.

There will be an event after the conference. Spirit Communicator Mark Dorsett will provide messages from loved ones in spirit to provide healing and closure in a group setting. In addition to the healing aspects, gallery style sessions can also be a very fun and uplifting experience. The price for this event is $20.00 per person in advance or $25.00 at the event. It runs from 7 - 9 p.m.P

    Health investigators are hunting for a source of two cases of Legionnaires' disease at a care facility in Albert Lea. Two residents at St. John's Fountain Lake complex have been hospitalized after showing symptoms of Legionnaires' disease.  The first began in early June and the second resident started showing signs of the disease this past Thursday, according to the Minnesota Dept. of Health.
