ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A high-speed crash in a northwest Rochester neighborhood sent three men to the hospital over the weekend.
The crash happened in the Country Club Manor neighborhood, across from Harriet Bishop Elementary School at about 2:45 a.m. early Sunday.
That's where police say 24-year-old Isaac Soltau of Rochester was speeding, lost control, hit a tree and rolled.
Police say the impact was so great, one of the two passengers was ejected into a yard, and the car's engine flew down the street. The mother of the other passenger said her son was ejected out the rear window, landing on the pavement.
"These boys truly had angels with them," she said. "Especially those ejected with such force as they were. It is simply a miracle we did not lose our boys."
The passengers, a 23-year-old Rochester man and 21-year-old Chatfield man suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police said the driver is okay, but faces charges of DWI and criminal vehicular operation.
