ORONOCO, Minn. (KTTC) -- The man behind four of Rochester's biggest hotels has more development plans in the works.
Business executive Javon Bea is asking to turn a plot of land at 1197 115th Street in Oronoco into a private park.
The 5-acre plot of land in Oronoco would be similar to Mayowood Barn in Rochester.
According to re-zoning documents submitted to the Rochester-Olmsted Planning Department, the private park would host social gatherings like family reunions, weddings, and dances.
The use of the park would be limited to Fridays and Saturdays during warm months.
Right now, a century-old barn already sits on the property.
