Crash clean-up begins at New Horizon Academy


ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Monday will be the start of a cleanup for employees at Rochester's New Horizon Academy Cascade Creek.

There is significant damage to the building there, from a alleged drunk driver who crashed right into the side of the building around 9 p.m. Saturday night.

According to Rochester police, a 39-year-old male was driving on Civic Center Drive at excessive speeds, when he ran his truck right into the daycare.

Police say the driver is facing charges of DWI and speeding.

There were no injuries in the incident.
