Navy SEAL parachutes in at Killen Shoot

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Onlookers at the Gamehaven Scout Reservation were in for quite a treat over the weekend.  Former Navy Seal Isaiah Maring dropped in on the 18th annual Jim Killen Boy Scout Sporting Clay shoot Saturday afternoon, which was held to support Rochester's boy scouts.

Maring spent 5 years as a Navy SEAL overseas, and was part of the Navy Parachute team. He now does demonstrations all across the country.

The Rochester area boyscouts contributed nearly 130,000 volunteer hours in the last year.

"It's fun to be a part of something bigger than myself, you know I can come in, and I do the jump. I'm coming here to support this and to show you know my support for what their doing as they get older and grow, so it's very exciting for me to be able to be here," said Maring.

Maring will jump again next week, on September 11th at Kasson-Mantorville Middle School.
