Dave Polzin is a Wisconsin native, who is excited to be returning to the Badger State.

Dave brings a lot of experience to the WXOW news team after spending the last two years at the CBS affiliate (KOLN) in Lincoln, NE. During his time in Nebraska, Dave covered some of the biggest stories in college sports, like Nebraska's shift from the Big 12 to the Big 10, Doc Sadler's firing and Tim Miles' hiring, and the historic touchdown run by pediatric cancer patient Jack Hoffman during the 2013 Nebraska Spring Game.

Originally from Delavan, WI, Dave attended the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and graduated in 2010. During his time at UWSP, Dave had the privilege of covering the Division 3 National Champion UWSP Men's Basketball team.

After graduation, Dave spent one season covering prep sports in the Milwaukee area for the Emmy Winning TV show Preps Plus.

Dave, his fiance Jill, and their son Thomas are excited to be apart of the La Crosse Community.
