Burglary at Rochester grocery store


ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Rochester police are investigating a break-in at a grocery store where two safes were taken. 

Investigators say someone broke the windows of El Gallo Grocery on the 1800 block of 24th street northwest.

Employees tell police they closed the store on the night of Sunday, August 25. When they went to open it Monday morning, they found the broken window.

Two safes were taken with an undisclosed amount of cash inside.
