Convicted murderer back behind bars

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A Rochester man, formerly convicted of murder, is back behind bars Friday.

Rochester police say Marc Huyber, 41, was arrested just before 1 a.m. Friday, after allegedly threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend and the father of her child.

Huyber was found near her home on Elton Hills Drive and Viking Drive Northwest.

In 1995, Huyber was convicted of killing Cory Maddox. Huyber pleaded guilty to unintentional murder and spent 12 years in prison.
