Teen shoots out car window in NW Rochester


ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A teenager is behind bars after shooting out a car window in broad daylight.

The incident happened at about 12:30 p.m. Monday, behind Gander Mountain in Rochester.

Police tell us that's where someone was driving, when a 14-year-old fired a shot at the vehicle with a BB gun.

The shot shattering the driver's side rear window.

The victim called Rochester police, and the teen was arrested nearby and taken to the juvenile detention center.

The teen faces two counts of second degree assault.

The driver wasn't hurt.
