ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Tuesday was a frightening night for a couple of Rochester women, when someone violently burst into their home.
The incident happened at an apartment in a complex on the 800 block of Homestead Village Lane Southeast.
At about 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning, police say the suspect knew the residents and entered the apartment through an unlocked door.
She assaulted a 19-year-old woman inside, and then took off when police were called.
Police say they later arrested 30-year-old Maricela Garza. Garza has been charged with first degree burglary.
Police say the dispute was likely over an ex-boyfriend.
