ROCHESTER, Minn. -- A Rochester man was sentenced Monday in Olmsted County Court for the death of a woman in a towing incident back in May.

Wade Cole, 46, was ordered to serve 88 months in prison with credit for time served.

He pleaded guilty to criminal vehicular homicide or operation in June.

Diane Sorenson, 59, of Rochester, was helping tow a vehicle out of a snow bank in May near the intersection of 29th Street Southeast and Marion Road Southeast.

Wade was in the vehicle being towed when a chain snapped causing the vehicle to run over Sorenson.

She later died of her injuries.
