ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Despite initial plans to close down, Words Players Theatre is looking for ways to keep bringing entertainment to Rochester.
At the end of June the organization faced financial challenges and shortages.
As of last Wednesday, the group was still short on its monthly funding even after a significant jump in donations.
Instead of giving up, the group is putting together a committee that will spend the next three months trying to find a business plan that will allow theatre programs to continue.
Meanwhile, Words Players Theatre has postponed two of its October shows but still plans to move ahead with its production of "A Christmas Carol."
