ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Some Rochester residents are pushing for a new pedestrian bridge in northwest Rochester.
Olmsted County personnel came out to a public meeting at Harriet bishop Elementary School to listen to concerns and answer questions on the bridge proposal.
The proposal would build a pedestrian bridge, similar to bridge that crosses Highway 14, at the intersection of West Circle Drive and 3rd Street Northwest.
Residents in favor of the new bridge say it would provide a long-term approach to safely separate pedestrians from traffic at the intersection.
