Rochester man faces multiple charges after out-of-control rage

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Rochester police have a man in custody after he allegedly raged out of control at a detox facility in Rochester.

23-year-old Nathaniel Sommers of Wanamingo was arrested after police say he had removed a curtain rod from inside the building and used it to break ceiling tiles, exit signs, TV's, thermostats and even set off the fire alarms.

Sommers was finally detained after allegedly trying to hit staff members.

He is currently being held at the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center. He's facing charges of 2nd degree felony assault and felony damage to property.
