ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- The animals are on the move to their new home.
Monday, volunteers with Paws and Claws Humane Society in Rochester started moving cats and dogs from their old Paws and Claws home on 7th Street Northwest, to a brand new facility on 19th Street Northwest.
Officials with Paws and Claws say the new facility, which hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony last Friday, will be able to care for 65-to-75 cats and 40-to-50 dogs on any given day.
They also say the new building has several new features to help keep the animals safe and healthy.
The new Paws and Claws location is expected to open to the public on Wednesday, July 31.
