Rochester residents involved in fatal Highway 52 crash

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Two Rochester residents were involved in a weekend crash that killed two people from the Twin Cities.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash happened at about 12 p.m. Saturday on Highway 52 just north of Cannon Falls.

The driver of an eastbound Civic attempting to cross Highway 52 didn't yield to northbound traffic, and was broadsided by another car.

A man and woman in the Civic were ejected and killed. They were both from St. Paul.

The driver and passenger of the other vehicle are from Rochester. Neither was injured.
