ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Rochester continues to grow, and with it comes the need for more housing.
But one proposed development in the southwest part of town is going too far.
At least, that's the opinion of several residents who live nearby
And Wednesday night, residents from the Scenic Oaks neighborhood met again to express their opinions at the city planning and zoning commission meeting.
Scenic Oaks Lakeville General Development wants to build 100 homes in the region, and it wants access through city-owned wetlands.
Some neighbors say another, safer route, should be considered first, and questioned the validity of a wetlands replacement plan granted to the developer in 2005.
The Rochester City Council will take up the issue August 19th.
