ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A major construction project will slow traffic along Highway 52 in Rochester this weekend.
The Highway 14 bridge over Highway 52 will close Friday night as crews begin a bridge replacement project.
According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, traffic will be re-routed to 16th St. SW and South Broadway Ave.
Then at 9 p.m. Friday, Highway 52 will be closed to traffic there in both directions and won't reopen until Monday morning.
MnDOT says the entire bridge project won't be complete until mid-September, weather permitting.
