ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Olmsted Medical Center is about to get an addition that will double the size of the current hospital.
Crews broke ground Wednesday afternoon on the 80,000 square foot Women's Health Pavilion.
The $25 million expansion will include an updated and renovated birth center that will operate as a labor-delivery-recovery-post-partum facility.
The pavilion will also offer services like endocrinology, preventative care and wellness coaching, diagnostic radiology, psychiatry, nutrition services and physical rehabilitation.
The pavilion should be open to patients in late 2014.
