RED WING, Minn. (KTTC) -- The Zumbrota man accused of beating a man with a hammer was sentenced Friday to 18 years in prison.
Jonathan Closner, 26, pleaded guilty to second-degree attempted murder earlier this year.
Closner admitted he hit Daniel Yennie in the head two times with a hammer after finding him in bed with his wife in mid-January.
Yennie was airlifted to Saint Marys Hospital where he would go on to spend about two months in the hospital and undergo three different surgeries.
