MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KTTC) -- A Rochester man was sentenced Thursday in federal court to more than 17 years in prison for possessing methamphetamine.
Christopher Talamantes, 35, pleaded guilty in December to one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
In his plea agreement, Talamantes admitted he had 600 grams of meth and about $1,900 when officers searched his home on Sept. 15, 2011.
Rochester police also searched his apartment on July 28, 2011. That search uncovered approximately 2.6 grams of meth and $13,748 in cash.
